Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the Russian capital Moscow for a three-day state visit on June 5, 2019.

He joined Russian President Vladimir Putin at a three-hour meeting in which both leaders described the nations’ bilateral relationship as being at “an unprecedentedly high level”.

Xi and Putin were scheduled to attend the annual St Petersburg Economic International Forum. The Chinese leader will also oversee the delivery of two pandas for the Moscow Zoo.
